Turnaround Times

Our goal is to get your letters in the mail within two business days, so that you can involve your readers more effectively in your ministry by sending timely updates and prayer requests.

With first-class mail, most people will get your letter within four days of your sending it to us.

Complicated letters (e.g. mail merged letters with inserts) will generally take a little longer.

Actual Turnaround Times

So that you can tell how we're doing at meeting our goal, here are our actual turnaround times for the past 30 days:

• 25% of mailings: 11 hours, 41 minutes

• 50% of mailings: 19 hours, 49 minutes

• 75% of mailings: 1 day, 5 hours, 52 minutes

Tips for Faster Turnaround Times

If you would like to get your letters in the mail as quickly as possible, here are some tips:

• Send in the morning (in the Americas) – mailings that are ready to print by 3pm US Eastern time are usually mailed on the same day.

• Skip the preview step – if you generally don't have any problems with the preview, consider skipping it. We will still proofread the letter, but will then print it right away.

• Avoid mail merges – these take longer to print, and require more attention to make sure everything stays lined up, so they often get delayed on busy days.

• Send single-page letters – these don't take as much time to proofread (provided you don't pack two pages of text into one page), and are easy to print.

Of course, if you don't follow any of these tips, we'll still do our best to get your letters sent within two days. These tips will help you get same-day service.
